Fabric * Nantucket Lightship Basket Weave

Beginning around the mid 19th century, the now iconic Nantucket Lightship Baskets were made from rattan and wood by crews who were staffed on lightships to fill the long hours at sea.

Our fabric is printed with 100% plant based biodegradable inks that are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and by OEKO-TEX .

55% linen/ 45% combed cotton

Horizontal repeat 18"

Machine washable on cold or warm setting and tumble dry on low. To reduce shrinkage, (about 2%) hang to dry.

Iron on medium setting.
